We are back in the capital again after a fantastic trip around the country. We didn't really want to come back as we realize we are moving on not to return (for a while anyway).
Phnom Penh seems cleaner, less chaotic and almost sane this time. Has it changed or have we??? We are enjoying being back in a familiar place. This time we got a guest house near the centre of town and the river. It's a good change but we do miss the pleasant relaxing place on the lake.
Kathy is off doing a Khmer cooking class today - so look out when we get home.
I am doing what I love - wandering aimlessly around the streets and markets. Most of what you see is amazing. The smells, conditions and variety in the markets is almost overpowering.
Unfortunately I get tired and have to sit down in a cafe, or internet joint, to have a rest. Especially in the heat of the day. Internet cost $1.50 US an hour.
We want to go to Vietnam soon but Kathy wants to do some shopping in the market here one last time so it may not be tomorrow.
